We used the lyrics to help us plan out what scenes we want our video. It allowed us to match the visuals with the lyrics, so we had a clear understanding of the narrative. We found that analysing the lyrics was much more effective than creating a storyboard.
This helped us to plan our narrative as our music video is narrative based, we needed a clear story. Analysing the lyrics allowed us to create the story and have a solid base to work on.
